GBC: What should I do?

A dilemma is when you have to make a difficult choice between two different options that both seem equally good, or equally bad. For example, many working parents face the dilemma of whether to:

1. stay at the office and finish their work, but miss their child's dance recital; OR
2. go to their child's dance recital, but not get their work finished on time.

In this case, both options have a good and bad outcome. The good ones are equally good: 

1. finish their work
2. see their child's dance recital

but the bad ones are also equally bad:

1. miss their child's dance recital
2. not finish their work on time

Think of a time when you faced a difficult choice like that, describe the dilemma, then explain how you solved it. Give specific details, and try adding more than one reason you decided to take the action you did.
