QUESTIONS 1–5: Write a sentence based on a picture
DIRECTIONS: In this part of the test, you will write ONE sentence that is based on a picture. With each picture, you will be given TWO words or phrases that you must use in your sentence. You can change the forms of the words and you can use the words in any order.
Some parents tell their children which school he or she should enter and what to learn there. Others say to their kids that they should study what they are interested in and make their own choices. Which kind of education is effective? Explain your reasons.
Which companies are your biggest competitors? How does your company compare? Why would a customer or client choose your product or service and not that of your competitor?
"Notice" means "become aware of". "Realise" means "to come to understand clearly". "Recognise" means "to identify something or someone previously known or seen".
Write some sentences using "notice", "realise" and "recognise" to practice these words and master the differences.
What aspect of your country's politics worries you the most? Explain the issue and why it is problematic. Also outline a proposal to deal with the issue.
