I'm good at photography. Everyone says so. I first started taking pictures when I was very little. My grandfather worked as a manager at Kodak, which is a famous film and camera manufacturer. He would bring home new cameras that he got for free to try out, and then he'd pass them on to us. So I was able to use good cameras right from the start. 

In high school, I to0k a photography class where we learned how to develop and print our own photos. I loved working in the darkroom! I took a similar class in college one summer. The class started at 7:30am, and then we could go work in the darkroom for as long as we wanted. One day, I looked at my watch and it was already 2pm! I hadn't eaten lunch or anything because I was so involved in developing and printing my photos.

So you can see that I've been in love with photography almost all my life. I was lucky to have a grandfather who gave us good cameras. That definitely gave me the opportunity to learn how to create good photographs.
