Brazilian style barbecue
Today was Father's Day. My son made me a t-shirt at school. It says, "Dad, you are a ten!" It has two hand prints on the front in green. I wore it all day. I will treasure it always.
My wife's uncle invited us to his house for barbecue. In Brazil, barbecue is called "churrasco" (it's pronounced "shoe - HASS - koh"). He lives in a town outside of São Paulo. It's very quite and green. We ate lots of Brazilian sausage, pork ribs and beef with miso. We also had plenty of (very sweet) dessert. Afterwards, I had a swim with my son and his cousins. After that, I had a snooze.
We got back home just now. The traffic was not so bad. It is usually terrible in this city. Tomorrow, we are going on a road trip to a place called Paraty, and then on to Rio de Janeiro. I'd better pack my bag!
