I've been to a few weddings. My favorite was when a friend of mine got married on the beach. Fortunately, the weather was good—it would have been a disaster otherwise! But the sun was out, and there was a nice breeze. It was a beautiful place for the ceremony. Since it was on the beach, people didn't get as dressed up as they usually do for weddings. Fancy dresses and high-heeled shoes don't work well on the sand. And men didn't want to get their suits all sandy. The bride and groom were barefoot and had flowers in their hair. A few people came who apparently didn't think about what they should wear on the beach, so they were dressed up and uncomfortable. Next time they should pay more attention to the invitation!
