For centuries, people have followed the Latin proverb, Docendo discimus—"By teaching, we learn." Write a few sentences about what the proverb means, and perhaps a time when you have experienced it in your own life.
Think of a time when you taught someone how to do something. Did you learn more about it while you were teaching them? Perhaps you helped someone with their math homework. Or showed someone how to use a computer. Did you find it hard to explain why you have to do it a certain way? It's one thing to know how to do something; it's takes a deeper understanding to explain it to someone else.
