Is it better to graduate as fast as possible and get out into the workforce, or should you take your time with your studies and put graduation out of your mind? Imagine you are advising your child. What would you tell them?
You are the CSO (Chief Security Officer) of a digital products manufacturer. Recently there has been a breach of security by an outside hacker. In response to this threat, you are asking all employees to change their passwords.
Write a company-wide email to explain the situation and request the change in passwords.
The best way to teach is to praise positive actions and ignore negative ones.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the recommendation and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, describe specific circumstances in which adopting the recommendation would or would not be advantageous and explain how these examples shape your position.
Some people who have lived in another country have trouble when they come home. What kind of problems do these people have and why? Could these troubles be beneficial to the individual or their society?
Interviewers want to know how you handle the failures that are bound to happen. They also want to see your attitude toward failure. It is easier to talk about successes, but you must be able to talk about your failures, too.
Write your answer as though you are actually in an interview.
Think about a trip you went on (good or bad). Describe the trip. Write about what you would do differently if you went to that place again. Explain why you would do things differently and how that would change your experience of the place.
Be sure to use vivid language and anecdotes in your answer. (See Examples and hints.)
