QUESTIONS 1–5: Write a sentence based on a picture
DIRECTIONS: In this part of the test, you will write ONE sentence that is based on a picture. With each picture, you will be given TWO words or phrases that you must use in your sentence. You can change the forms of the words and you can use the words in any order.
Companies and labour unions in France have agreed to limit business emails after 6pm to help improve their work-life balance and well-being. Do you think this is a good idea? Is it even possible in your job?
Think about a trip you went on (good or bad). Describe the trip. Write about what you would do differently if you went to that place again. Explain why you would do things differently and how that would change your experience of the place.
Be sure to use vivid language and anecdotes in your answer. (See Examples and hints.)
You are the owner of a car that you want to sell for $4000. You've put an ad in the local paper, and someone has emailed you for more information. Respond to their email (below), answering their questions and providing any other information that might help persuade them to purchase the car.
