SAMPLE ANSWER:

When I went to university, I studied Economics because a study was done [testimony] that showed an Economics degree leads to a lot of job opportunities. Even though I love history and art, the study also showed that those degrees don't give you many opportunities. When I graduated from university, I got a Master's degree in a more specialised field and managed to get a great job with a top company as a result. So all in all, I am very pleased with my decision to study a subject that would have long-term benefits.
